First of all…
Bieg Firmowy is a cyclical event, continuously organised since 2013. The creator and main organizer of the run is the Everest Foundation, about which you can read more here: fundacjaeverest.pl.
It is a charity event dedicated for employees from all around Poland. An unchangeable goal of Bieg Firmowy is to help little heroes from the Everest Foundation, who suffer from various illnesses and disabilities since the first months of their lives.
For whom?
For many years already 5-person teams have participated in Bieg Firmowy. It will remain the same also in this year’s edition. The formula of relay race allows mutual motivation, team building and creation of a positive atmosphere in the company’s team.
Each participant has to beat a friendly distance of 5 km, which is reachable for runners of all levels of sophistication (in the society of corporate runners we have both systematically training enthusiasts and participants who take part in a running event for the first time in their lives).
Companies can register more than one team for the relay race. Over 55 000 runners took part in the previous editions of the event . 1 112 055 zł is a magical amount of money that was donated for 39 proteges of the Everest Foundation throughout 15 editions of Bieg Firmowy.
Bieg Firmowy 2021 is a hybrid event, corresponding to the present conditions related with the restrictions and the fact that the organisation of mass events is forbidden. The day of Bieg Firmowy (May 22nd) is preceded by the Relay Race for Health, which is a few weeks long series of events and workouts online with specialists of a wide physical activity and mental health.
About the Relay Race for Health
In the time of omnipresent home office our physical and mental condition got worse. This directly affects our mood and efficiency at work. We want you to feel good, so we propose you to join our Relay Race for Health. Together we will get back in shape.
In March employees participate in the meetings covering the topics of a healthy lifestyle: healthy activity, diet, concentration and sleep. The meetings will be held online in the form of webinars, interactive workshops or individual consultations. Meetings are hosted by qualified trainers and experts.
In April we turn the knowledge into practice! We organise workouts with professional trainers in online and hybrid form. We will conduct live streaming from the workouts, allowing for interaction with the host. One can participate in the online workout from any location, e.g home, exercise hall, outside or the office.

We run, but not only!
Crème de la crème of the whole Relay Race for Health is Bieg Firmowy, which will take place on May 22nd. Companies from all around Poland will participate in a relay race. Thanks to the Activy Mobile App, 5-person company teams will participate in a running event in a form that is completely safe and unaffected by the pandemics ((see how it looked like in 2020). The formula of beating the distance of 5km with a run is just a suggestion. It is the idea that counts, and the hybrid formula does not have any limitations. You can not only run, but also go for a walk with your family or your pet, or even beat the distance by nordic walking. It does not matter how you do it, only the distance matters- just 5 km is how close to helping children in need you are.
