Antoni Kiełek
Antoni- five years and a lot of work every day.
His everyday life looks different than that of most of his peers. This is a world of therapy, exercise and specialized equipment. He won't tell about himself in words. He won't run. But every day is a real effort of his body and the team of people who fight for him. It's a story of small steps that mean a lot to him. What does he face on a daily basis? Antoś has a rare mutation in the PAK3 gene, corpus callosum agenesis, cerebral palsy and drug-resistant epilepsy. These diseases affect the work of his brain and the whole organism. He is a recumbent child, completely dependent on the care of adults. He doesn't develop intellectually like his peers and is fed by gastrostomy. He uses a specialized trolley and a verticalizer. Antoni requires constant rehabilitation, therapy and treatment and is waiting for the osteotomy procedure.
