Gabriela - 14 years old and her own way of being.

She's a teenager. She has her reactions, her emotions and her pace. She understands simple sentences, answers questions, reacts to what is happening around her. She is not independent in movement, but is present. She builds relationships the way she can - through a look, an answer, a reaction. Her everyday life is cooperation with other people and constant support that allows her to function safely. What does she face on a daily basis? Gabriela has cerebral palsy quadriplegia in spastic form and epilepsy. She moves in a wheelchair and is completely dependent on the care of adults in her daily functioning. Her intellectual development is slower than that of her peers, she understands simple messages and is able to give short answers.
