Julia Goła
Julka - step by step for her space.
Moves independently over short distances, with the safety and support of orthoses. Each meter is the result of work, practice and systematicity. Not everything comes easily to her, but she consistently builds her agility and courage on the move. Julka is not standing still. Every day she does something that until recently was more difficult. What does she face on a daily basis? Julka has thoracolumbar spina bifida, hydrocephalus, clubfoot and neurogenic bladder. She has flaccid paresis of the lower extremities, which limits her mobility. Moves independently for short distances on level terrain with safety, using AFO orthoses. She requires daily rehabilitation and specialized orthopedic and rehabilitation equipment, including orthotics, appropriate footwear, a verticalizer, a rehabilitation cart and a compensation vest.
