Lilianna Klepin
Liliana - reacts to the world in her own way.
She doesn't communicate in words and needs to be guided by the hand to move safely. Her contact with the environment is limited, but she is not absent. She finds herself best in a calm, one-on-one relationship when someone gives her time and attention. Special joy is brought to her by classes with a speech therapist and moments in the water. The pool is a space where her body can work differently, more freely. What does she face on a daily basis? Liliana has Down syndrome and West syndrome, which is a severe form of childhood epilepsy. She had cataract surgery on one eye. She doesn't speak, moves exclusively guided by the hand and has a significant degree of intellectual disability. Her contact with the environment is limited, and in situations of overload, autoaggressive behaviors can appear. She requires constant attention, support and specialized therapy.
